Founded in April 2010 with 7 locals, Tozen Union has recently reached 15 active local unions (plus two dormant ones). Our membership has also roughly doubled during the past four years, with growth accelerating over the past 15 months.
Growth has meant more disputes but also more settlements — nine settlements will be discussed at Sunday’s Headquarters Executive Committee. The growth has included not just new local unions but also serious growth in existing ones, and that is exciting.
We call on all workers regardless of nationality, industry or job type to join the union and let’s change things for the better. Better working conditions and higher wages may mean less profit for companies, but they also mean more economic activity and a higher GDP. Wages lead prices which spur the economy.
Ask about how to join.
